Express Your Self! Let’s color splash the sidewalk in front of the Gregg House Museum into a dazzling mosaic of design. We’ll provide the chalk; you bring your ideas and drawing skills! Be a part of Art! No previous art experience required. Meet an expert artist who will be on hand to demonstrate drawing techniques and give you some pointers for making a great work of art. Kids and adults can participate or view and experience art at your feet! Drawings will be judged and great prizes will be awarded at 1:30 pm. This program is FREE, however, we ask that you pre-register by May 11th. You can register the day of the program as long as space is available. Rain date is Sunday, May 15th.

Come to Ty Warner Park for a day of fun on Sunday, May 15. Our annual Flying 4 Kids kite fly event begins at 11am. The Chicago Kite Club will be providing demonstrations, kids can make their own kite, and candy will drop from a kite at 2pm; you won’t want to miss it!
The parking lot will also be full with a variety of vehicles that kids can touch, climb and explore at the Touch-A-Truck event. There will be tractors, police and fire vehicles, snow plows and more.
