Minimum Job Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School graduate or GED, (Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement (Criminal Justice) or Bachelor’s Degree in any field preferred
  • Military experience a plus
  • No felony convictions
  • 21 to under 35 years of age as of September 19, 2015 unless otherwise exempt by Statute;
  • Residency required within DuPage County or counties contiguous to DuPage County by the end of 18 month probationary period.

  • Must attend orientation, written and physical ability test scheduled for 9:00 AM on September 19, 2015 at the Westmont Senior High School, Westmont Illinois.

Part-time Admin Assistant II Community Development

The Village of Westmont, IL (pop. 24,685) Part-time Administrative II - Community Development is responsible for a variety of routine and complex clerical, secretarial, and administrative work.

Must be a dedicated individual with integrity & strength of character.  Requires extensive knowledge of administrative activities and procedures, use of personal computer and programs, accurate and proficient typing speed, and highly effective verbal and written communication skills to clearly and accurately answer customer questions pertaining to building permits, general zoning, and code enforcement.

Starting hourly salary is $19.47 (DOQ).  Average weekly hours are 16-20 hours per week.
