Police Records Clerk
The Village of Westmont, Illinois (pop. 24,685) is accepting applications for the position of Police Records Clerk.  The Police Records Clerk performs a variety of data entry and clerical functions in the Police Department related to traffic accidents, citations, fines, parking violations, police reports, Freedom Of Information Act requests, and case files.
The ideal candidate must be a dedicated individual with integrity and strength of character.  Candidate should also have a track record of positive relations with employees, department heads, elected officials and citizens.  Outstanding communication, listening and interpersonal skills are required.  Must possess strong computer, office, organizational, phone, and mathematical skills.
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of high school, advanced degree a plus.  Requires a minimum two (2) years of general office experience; previous Police Records experience preferred. Full job description attached below.
Starting Salary range for position is $42,226 - $44,337 (DOQ) plus excellent benefits.  Average weekly hours are 40 hours per week.
