Public Education

The Public Education Division of the Westmont Fire Department is responsible for providing the public with information and resources to prevent not only fires, but also to reduce or prevent injuries and death from causes unrelated to fire. The Westmont Fire Department is committed to the safety and education of both children and adults within the community. The department can best accomplish this through Fire Safety Education. We currently can provide a number of fire safety education programs. These programs can be for large groups or small groups of all ages, at your location or at one of the fire stations, at times convenient for your group.

The department can provide information and literature on many topics of fire safety, from home fire safety to workplace fire safety. Below you will find a list of fire safety programs offered by the Westmont Fire Department.

For more information on arranging an education program, contact the Fire Prevention Bureau at 630-981-6402.
