The Westmont High School Rotary Interact club is collecting donations to help people affected by the recent storm and flooding. Donations being accepted include cleaning products, clean bed linens, comforters, area throw rugs, pillows, clothing, shoes and school supplies. Donations are currently being accepted at the Westmont High School, 909 Oakwood Drive, Westmont, through Friday, May 3.
If you know someone who will benefit from this flood relief effort, or if you need to make arrangements for a drop-off and/or pick-up, please contact Señorita Lott at klott@cusd201.org.
Pick-ups will be scheduled for Monday, May 6 between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. All items collected will be given away free of cost to those in need. Any remaining items will be offered to area agencies that help our community.
