The DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau recently hosted a virtual tour of FMC Natatorium at Ty Warner Park, the newest and largest water sports facility in the state of Illinois.  The virtual tour had over 240 participants from across the country - many of whom are considering the new state-of-the-art facility for future events.

“We are very excited about the FMC Natatorium at Ty Warner Park in Westmont,” said Westmont Economic Development Director Larry Forssberg.  “This amazing aquatic facility is expected to bring 10’s of 1000’s of people to Westmont in addition to millions of dollars to our local economy.”

The FMC Natatorium has been in the works since 2015 and is scheduled to open summer 2020.  Highlights of the 71,000 square foot facility include a 50-meter Olympic-size competition pool with spectator seating for 1,200, 25-yard development pool for community programs and competition warm-up, four locker rooms with 1,000 lockers, offices, hospitality rooms, and a parent lounge with changing stations and viewing window.

The FMC Natatorium at Ty Warner Park in Westmont will have times and schedules for local use of the pool, as well as be the home for regional and national sporting events.  Schedule details are being developed and will be published as soon as they are completed.
