Village of Westmont

The Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (IRMA) recently released their annual State of the Membership Report for calendar year 2019. Out of a total of 70 IRMA members, Westmont ranked 1st in the Large Member Category and 3rd Overall.
The rankings are based on the following criteria:
- Severity of claims within the last five years
- Ratio of claims paid compared to contributions over the last five years
- Most recent IMAP rating - the Village of Westmont achieved a 100% score and was ranked #1 in this area
“This is a testament to the safety culture that has been created by our Village Municipal organization over a number of years,” said Mike Chorney, Village of Westmont Executive Safety Committee Chair and Village Safety and Risk Management Coordinator. “I want to thank everyone in our organization for their dedication to ensuring a safe work environment for our Village employees.”
