“Starting today and continuing through this Sunday, Westmont Special Events is hosting their first ever, and hopefully last, ‘virtual’ Taste of Westmont,” said Westmont Special Events Corporation (WSEC) Executive Director Kristina Kaniauskaite. “Because we weren’t able to hold our usual event, we wanted to find a way to still support the restaurant sponsors and food vendors that participate in the Taste of Westmont. The restaurants have come up with some excellent food and beverage specials and we hope everyone will support them.” Participating restaurants include Baisi Thai, J. Fleming’s, Johnny’s Blitz, NEAT Kitchen + Bar, Taqueria Ranchito, Uncle Bub’s, The Uptown, and Zazzo’s. A complete listing of Virtual Taste of Westmont participants and food specials can be found on the WSEC website.
The WSEC, which is an independent, volunteer-based not-for-profit organization, hosts both the Taste of Westmont and Westmont Cruisin’ Nights, as well as participates in events such as Wicked West Fest, Westmont Holly Days, and more.
