Nearly 100,000 voters have already applied for Vote By Mail Ballots in DuPage County for the Nov. 3, 2020 election. Voters choosing the Vote By Mail Ballot option for the 2020 General Election in DuPage County are encouraged to apply now. All DuPage registered voters were sent Vote By Mail applications earlier this month. Applications can be completed and dropped in a mailbox – no postage required.
DuPage County has produced a short informational video regarding the Vote By Mail process.
Voters may also fill out their Vote By Mail application online.
Vote By Mail Ballots will be mailed out starting Sept. 24, 2020. It may take four to five business days to receive a ballot after that date. An insert with simple instructions will accompany each Vote By Mail Ballot. Voters who applied early are encouraged to complete their Vote By Mail Ballots shortly after receiving them, then drop them in the mail – no postage required.
Voters will continue to have the option of casting Ballots during Early Voting or at Election Day polling places.
Due to COVID-19, all 2020 General Election voters are encouraged to cast a Ballot prior to Election Day, either by mail or during early voting.
