At the November 19, 2020 Village Board Meeting, Mayor Ron Gunter recognized Village Manager Steve May for his 30 years of service with the Village of Westmont.
May began his career with the Village as a Civil Engineer in 1986 and continued in that role until 2000. At that time, he took a position with the Village of Lemont and served as their Village Engineer for three years. In 2003, May returned to Westmont and was hired as the Director of Public Works. In 2013, May was named the Assistant Village Manager and Director of Municipal Services, and a year later became the Village Manager, and has remained in this role through present.
The Village of Westmont thanks Steve for his many years of service and dedication to the community.
