The Village of Westmont has begun its year-long 100th anniversary celebration. Various events and activities related to the 100th anniversary will be scheduled throughout the year leading up to the actual anniversary date of November 10, 2021.
One of the kick-off projects is the publishing of a new Westmont 100th Anniversary history book titled Images of America: Westmont, which was officially released on January 4, 2021 and is on sale now. The book features over 100 pages of historical photos and stories that span more than 100 years of history. The book was written by Westmont resident Maggie South in collaboration with the Westmont Area Historical Society.
