At two recent Village Safety Committee meetings, several Westmont Fire Department personnel were promoted:
- Captain Eric Blaskovich to the rank of Battalion Chief
- Lieutenant Darren Boyce to the rank of Captain
- Lieutenant Joe Newton to the rank of Captain
- Lieutenant Rich Zasada to the rank of Captain
- Firefighter Burton Chaet to the rank of Lieutenant
- Firefighter Darrell Parrish to the rank of Lieutenant
Also, the Fire Department Awards Committee presented their Westmont Fire Department Employee of the Year Award to Fire Chief Steve Riley. The Village of Westmont thanks and congratulates everyone on their accomplishments and new roles.
