Westmont Police Department -- Date Issued: February 5, 2021
At approximately 10:36 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, Westmont Police Officers were called to assist the Westmont Fire Department at Cordia Senior Residence located at 865 North Cass Avenue for an incident. Upon arrival, fire personnel and officers discovered a person, later identified as Regina Adamik, female, age 96, a resident of Cordia, deceased. There were no signs of foul play. The DuPage County Coroner responded to the scene. The family was notified of the situation. The investigation of this case is on-going with assistance from the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office.
