To help launch Westmont Restaurant Week, Jay Rushford was interviewed live for a TV segment on ABC-TV Ch. 7 during the 11:00 a.m. newscast on Thursday, February 25. Jay promoted the event as well as featured three of the restaurants participating in this year’s event - ItaliAmo, Ruta Cafe, and Walsh’s Bar and Grill. The interview was posted on the ABC-TV website.
“We want to thank ABC-TV for their support of Restaurant Week and other Westmont events over the years,” said Westmont Chamber Executive Director Larry Forssberg. “We want to make sure that the entire Chicagoland area thinks of Westmont as a great destination to ‘Dine Around The World’. Westmont has over 90 restaurants and more than 35 ethnic cuisines available.”
The Westmont Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau is hosting its 5th Annual Westmont Restaurant Week scheduled for Thursday, February 25 through Sunday, March 7, 2021. With so many culinary options, this event truly allows guests to "Dine Around the World" in Westmont.
Westmont Restaurant Week will feature over 20 restaurants, each offering special menu items at price points of $10, $20, $30, and $40. Restaurant Week presents a great opportunity for patrons to reconnect with their favorite restaurants or try someplace new.
