“The response to our best pet contest has been incredible,” said Larry McIntyre, co-chair of the 100th Anniversary Committee. “We have a lot of great submissions and it’s going to be very hard to choose our Best Pet 100th Anniversary Mascot, so we’re asking the public to vote for their favorites on social media to assist with the process.”
Pictures of each pet and a written nomination from the pet owner will be published on the Village of Westmont’s Facebook page. Everyone is asked to click “like” for their favorite mascot nominations. Best Pet voting will be open from Friday, March 5 through Sunday, March 14. For more information, please contact us at communications@westmont.il.gov.
