As the Village of Westmont continues its year-long 100th Anniversary Celebration, we are embracing this opportunity to collect historical information about the community.
“We think this is a perfect time to continue collecting the stories of Westmont,” said Westmont Mayor Ron Gunter, who is co-chairing the 100th Anniversary Committee. “At this time, we’re looking to get input from our citizens regarding some of our longtime Westmont businesses. Any and all information that can be shared is helpful. Later in the year, we plan to share the list with the community and announce our Westmont Legacy Businesses.”
One of the main criteria for receiving the Westmont Legacy Business designation is to have served the Westmont community for 30 or more years. Citizens are asked to provide information regarding Westmont’s longtime business via an online form.
