“Many people are eager for our wonderful community events such as Cruisin' Nights, 4h of July and Taste of Westmont to return in full force, as am I,” said Westmont Mayor Ron Gunter. “We are regularly asked if these events will take place this year. Unfortunately, all events that encourage mass gatherings of people on public property will remain on hold until State guidelines are updated and allow for such events.”
Once the State updates their COVID-19 mitigation protocols and allows large events and festivals, the Village of Westmont will share this news with the community and begin processing community event permit requests. Additionally, up-to-date information regarding community events will be published on the new Westmont Special Events website at westmontevents.com.
