“This year, Westmont turns 100, and we are planning a very special fireworks display to help celebrate,” said Mayor Ron Gunter. “Our Independence Day Celebration fireworks are going to be bigger and better than ever before.”
The event, co-hosted by the Westmont Park District and the Village of Westmont, will be held at Ty Warner Park starting at 4 p.m. and concluding with fireworks, which typically begin at 9:30 p.m.
On Sunday, July 4, be sure to bring the family to Ty Warner Park for food trucks, concessions, games, beer, live music, and one of the best fireworks presentations in all of Chicagoland. Following is this year’s schedule:

4:00-6:30 p.m. - FREE Kids Games & Crafts (ages 4-12)
5:00-7:30 p.m. - Walk-around Entertainment
7:30 - 9:15 p.m. - Grand Ave Big Band (Traditional Big Band Music)
9:30 p.m. - Fireworks Spectacular!
