The Village of Westmont wants to remind residents that there is a weekly brush pick-up program offered through our service contract with Waste Management. This program coincides with the Yard Waste Collection Program.
“After a storm like last weekend, there may be some branches and other yard debris that residents want to clean up,” said Public Works Director Mike Ramsey. “Westmont offers a weekly brush pick-up that assists with these types of situations.” Following are the specifications for the Brush Pick Up program:
WESTMONT BRUSH PICK-UP PROGRAM
- Branches and tree limbs must be tied with natural twine into bundles no more than 4 feet long and 1 1/2 feet in diameter
- Each bundle must weigh less than fifty (50) pounds
- Trees, stumps, and branches larger than 2 inches in diameter cannot be collected as brush
- Brush should be placed next to your other refuse on your usual pick-up day
- No sticker is required for brush pick-up

- Per Village ordinance, open burning of brush and leaves is not allowed
