[ARCHIVED] Westmont Hosts Open Houses in Conjunction with 100th Anniversary Celebration

100th Ann Open Houses

Westmont, Illinois -- Date Issued: July 16, 2021

Continuing Westmont’s year-long 100th Anniversary Celebration, various Village Departments will host monthly open houses leading up to the Village’s official anniversary on Wednesday, November 10.  The Westmont Police Department, Westmont Public Works, and Westmont Fire Department will have open houses in August, September, and October.  The open houses provide a great opportunity for residents to come and learn more about various departments and services provided by the Village of Westmont.  Coinciding with the open houses, each agency will debut a written history for their department, which will be published on the village website.

“Our departments do an amazing job on behalf of our residents and businesses and we want to showcase their hard work,” said Mayor Ron Gunter, who is the chair of the 100th Anniversary Committee.  “As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, we invite everyone to come to these events to visit our excellent facilities and meet our wonderful staff members.”
