Westmont, Illinois -- Date Issued: July 19, 2021
The Westmont Police Department is investigating a burglary and motor vehicle thefts which occurred at 3:12 AM this morning at Laurel BMW of Westmont, 430 East Ogden Avenue. Unknown suspects forced entry to the service bay and stole at least three vehicles. As officers arrived on scene, the offenders fled in multiple vehicles eastbound and westbound Ogden Avenue. One of the vehicles was disabled when it crashed into another offending vehicle at Ogden Avenue and Main Street, Downers Grove. The occupant(s) fled from the disabled vehicle on foot and were not apprehended.
