This weekend, the Westmont Lions Club is hosting their Labor Day Weekend Backyard BBQ & Carnival event at Ty Warner Park. The event will feature a carnival, food trucks, raffles, craft vendors, local BBQ competition, and on Saturday night there will be a live band and fireworks presentation.

CARNIVAL - $25 wristbands/unlimited rides Noon to 4pm; regular prices after 4pm
AMATEUR BBQ COMPETITION - judges still needed

BEER TRUCK - Saturday only
BAND - St. Jupiter - 6pm

“Due to a variety of reasons, the Westmont Lions will not be continuing the annual professional BBQ competition,” said Lions Club President Bob Fleck. “However, we will continue our local Backyard BBQ event, which encourages all of our local chefs to come out and participate in this fun, amateur competition. We will also have a Saturday night band performance leading up to the fireworks display starting at 8 p.m. We invite the entire community to attend.”
