Christmas trees will be picked up in Westmont by Waste Management during the first two full weeks of the new year, January 3 to 14, 2022. All trees picked up during this timeframe will be composted.
Trees should be put out with your other recycling and waste on your typical pickup day. Trees MUST be free of decorations, tinsel, and lights to be picked up and composted. Also, trees should NOT be placed in garbage bags or liners of any sort. Trees taller than 6 feet should be cut in half for easier disposal.
Trees put out after the first two full weeks of the year will be considered garbage and are subject to a fine. For more information, please contact Waste Management at wm.com or 800-964-8988.
