The Westmont Holly Days Frosty & Friends Parade is tomorrow, December 4 and will start at 5 p.m. This year’s parade will have an updated route so that people can participate more easily in the tree lighting ceremony and fireworks presentation.
The parade route will travel south on Cass Avenue from Naperville Road, then turn right on West Quincy Street after crossing the railroad tracks. The parade will end in front of the Village Hall at 31 W. Quincy. Parade spectators will be allowed to stand on Cass Avenue near Quincy Street.
WESTMONT HIGH SCHOOL MADRIGALS AT 4:30PM
The Westmont High School Madrigals will perform in front of Westmont Centre, 1 S. Cass Avenue, starting at 4:30 p.m. The performance will last approximately 20 minutes and lead right into the beginning of the parade.
TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY AT EAST QUINCY & CASS
The Tree Lighting Ceremony countdown will take place in front of Westmont Centre at the northeast corner of Cass & Quincy. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will occur immediately following the end of the Frosty & Friends Parade, typically about 5:35 p.m.
FIREWORKS
After the Holly Days Tree is lit, everyone is welcome to join us on West Quincy Street to watch the fireworks display.
PICTURES WITH SANTA
After the fireworks, everyone is invited to take their own pictures with Santa on his sleigh in front of Westmont Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy Street.
