For the past several weeks, the FMC Natatorium in Westmont has been working with the USA Swimming organization to host the 2022 TYR Pro Swim Series Westmont that will take place March 2-5. This event is being hosted by the official national organization that selects and trains athletes for international competitions including the Olympics. Live coverage of these swim series will be live streamed on the Olympic channel. The public is invited to attend and event tickets are being sold on the FMC Natatorium website.
Swimmers from all over the world will be competing in the Westmont series. Scheduled to make appearances are Ryan Murphy, Katie Ledecky, Michael Andrew, Lilly King, Cody Miller, Lydia Jacoby, Caleb Dressel, and more.
The 2022 TYR Pro Swim Series Westmont will be a qualifier for athletes to compete at other national events and help decide the U.S. rosters for the 2022 FINA World Championships and World Junior Championships.
