Westmont Fire Chief Dave Weiss, the Westmont Fire Department, the Citizens Fire Academy Alumni, and the Westmont Special Events Corporation are working together to make this year’s Fire Truck Night the best ever.
This year’s Fire Truck and Military Vehicles Night will be held on Thursday, July 26 from 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Westmont. This year’s event will feature:
* Tours through the Westmont Children’s Fire Safety House
* Sparky the Fire Dog
* Freddy the Fire Truck
* An inflatable balloon jump for kids - free admission
* The Pink Heals breast cancer awareness fire truck
* The Remembrance Rescue Project
* Tours and inspections of more than a ½-dozen fire trucks and EMS vehicles
* Engine 1871 Mobile Brick Oven Pizza
* And much more!
Of course, there will be live music by the RPM Band at the Knights of Columbus as well as a special appearance by K-LOVE Radio.
