“This is the fourth themed window mural program that we’ve coordinated over the past 7 months, “said Creative Arts Network coordinator Jenny Babyar. “During that time, our local artists have painted a total of 26 murals at various businesses throughout the community. This has been a great opportunity for the artists as well as the participating businesses.”
The theme of ‘Summer Fun’ has been chosen for the next mural program. Interested businesses can sign up now.
The business window mural project is a collaboration between the Westmont Special Events Corporation and the Creative Arts Network. Businesses can sign up to participate and be paired with a local artist to have their storefront window painted with a Summer Fun theme. Paintings will be on display from Memorial Day through the end of July.
