Westmont Special Events invites the entire community to dress up for Halloween and come to downtown Westmont on October 22 at 10:15 a.m. to be part of the Wicked West Fest Costume Contest and Photo Booth. New this year, Westmont Special Events is partnering with Amazon Fresh to offer free pictures at their Halloween Photo Booth. Free pictures at the photo booth will be available between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The costume contest and photo booth will be located at the intersection of Cass and Irving. There will be six categories for the costume contest:
- Newborn to 1 year olds
- 2-5 years old
- 6-9 years old
- 10-13 years old
- 14 & older
- Group/family category -- Must have at least 3 people
Judging criteria will include costume creativity and overall impact. Awards will be presented to the top 3 costumes in each category. After the costume contest, everyone is invited to participate in the Trick or Treat Trail from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Be sure to check out the Pumpkin Smashing Extravaganza on West Irving Street from 11 a.m. to Noon. And don’t miss the Caskets on Cass Race at 12:30 p.m.
