Holiday Offices closures

Westmont, Illinois -- Date Issued: November 23, 2022

Village of Westmont offices will be closed to the public on various holidays from Thanksgiving through Presidents Day.  Following is the holiday schedule through the end of February 2023.

All Village of Westmont offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 24 and 25.  Regular business hours will resume on Monday, November 28.  There will be NO recycling and garbage collection on Thursday, November 24, 2022.  The remainder of the week will follow the usual holiday schedule with each pickup being one day later than your regular pickup day (IE: Thursday pickups will occur on Friday and Friday pickups will occur on Saturday.)  The last pickup of the week will be on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

All Village of Westmont offices will be closed on Friday, December 23 and on Monday, December 26.  Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, December 27.  There will be NO recycling and garbage collection on Monday, December 26, 2022.  The remainder of the week will follow the usual holiday schedule with each pickup being one day later than your regular pickup day (IE: Monday pickups will occur on Tuesday; Tuesday pickups will occur on Wednesday; etc.)  The last pickup of the week will be on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

All Village of Westmont offices will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023.  Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.  There will be NO recycling and garbage collection on Monday, January 2, 2023.  The remainder of the week will follow the usual holiday schedule with each pickup being one day later than your regular pickup day (IE: Monday pickups will occur on Tuesday; Tuesday pickups will occur on Wednesday; etc.)  The last pickup of the week will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023.

All Village of Westmont offices will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17. Recycling and waste hauling collection will not be affected on this holiday.

All Village of Westmont offices will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023 in observance of Presidents Day.  Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, February 21. Recycling and waste hauling collection will not be affected on this holiday.

When the Village Hall and department offices are closed, bill payments can still be made via our village website at westmont.illinois.gov and clicking on the MAKE A PAYMENT icon.  Also, bill payments can be dropped off via the Village of Westmont after-hours drop box located near the entrance of the Commuter Train Station on West Quincy Street, or the Westmont Police Department drop box located at 500 N. Cass Ave.  These payments will be processed on the next business day.
