Over the past few weeks, our Westmont Public Works Department has done their part in getting Downtown Westmont ready for Holly Days! All of the work is in preparation for the Holly Days Parade, Tree Lighting and Pictures with Santa event scheduled for this Saturday, December 3! Following is a list of all the decorations in our downtown:
- 465 Live Wreaths and Boughs were hung throughout Downtown Westmont and at Village Facilities
- Over 250 strands of lights were used to decorate the new 20-foot Holly Days Tree at Addington Plaza
- 17 Live 6-foot Douglas Fir Christmas Trees have been placed around the Westmont Train Depot area
- 12 Large LED Christmas Displays have been placed near the Train Station and Westmont Centre Building
- 13,000 feet of Red Ribbon wrap was used to decorate the pedestrian light poles
- 35 Planters have been decorated with a Red Cedar Bundle and Winterberry display
- (1) 5-Ton Dump Truck and Wheel Loader have been decorated for the Holly Days Parade
- All the Downtown Westmont enhancement lighting on the trees have been replaced
- Lights have been hung on all the trees and shrubs around the Train Depot, Village Hall, and Westmont Centre Building

HOLLY DAYS PARADE & MORE
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3
4:00-6:30 p.m. - Downtown Business Stroll - Visit participating businesses to sign up for raffles
5:00 p.m. - Frosty & Friends Parade - South on Cass Avenue from Naperville to Quincy
After Parade - Tree Lighting Ceremony - Addington Plaza
6:00-6:30 p.m. - Free Pictures with Santa - Westmont Train Station
NOTE - Cass Avenue and other downtown streets will be temporarily closed during the parade.
