The Village of Westmont recently published a new webpage that features GIS maps of Westmont. GIS, or geographic information systems, are computer-based tools used to store, visualize, analyze, and interpret geographic data. Residents can access the new Westmont GIS maps via the webpage URL westmont.illinois.gov/GISmaps.
The new Westmont GIS maps webpage will provide links to a number of helpful community maps that can assist citizens seeking information regarding a wide range of topics including zoning, community construction projects, and more. One of the specific GIS maps features the 2023 Westmont Recycling and Waste Hauling Pick-up Zones and Schedule. Additionally, a PDF of the 2023 Pick-up Schedule has been posted on the website.
Additional community maps including Bike Routes, TIF Districts, Wetlands, FEMA Floodplains, Park District boundaries, School District boundaries, and more are currently available on the site as PDF files. These maps and others will be transitioned to the GIS map system in the future.
