At a special Budget Workshop meeting held on Thursday, April 13, Finance Director Jamie Cunningham and Assistant Village Manager Spencer Parker reviewed the proposed village budget for 2023-2024 with the village board. The presentation provided an overview of the entire village budget for the upcoming fiscal year. The Village Board is expected to vote on the 2023-2024 budget at their April 20 meeting.

The Village of Westmont fiscal budget currently runs from May 1 to April 30. The Westmont Village budget is typically approved in April so that the new budget is in place by May 1, which provides the time needed to adopt the annual appropriations ordinance which, per State mandate, must be filed with the county within the 1st quarter of the fiscal year.
