The Westmont Park District has a number of fun summer activities. Following are just some of the programs and events on their schedule.
CHALK IT UP!
Saturday, May 13, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Gregg House Museum - 115 S. Linden Avenue
All abilities and ages are welcome to join us at the Gregg House Museum to be part of our sidewalk chalk art event. Chalk will be provided. Participants are encouraged to pre-register online by May 11. Judging will begin at 1:00 p.m. and prizes will be awarded immediately following.
RACE TO THE FLAG 5K
Sunday, May 28, 8:00 a.m.
Ty Warner Park - 700 Blackhawk Drive
This 5K event is a tribute to the men and women who serve our country. The event is coordinated by the Westmont Park District and supports the People’s Resource Center. For more information and to register, visit racetotheflag.org.
GARDEN PARTY & ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Sunday, June 11, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Gregg House Museum Garden - 115 S. Linden Avenue
Meet expert gardeners from The Garden Club of Downers Grove who create and maintain the Gregg House Garden. Young green thumbs can enjoy some gardening activities and plant a flower to take home. This is a free family event. Suggested donation of $2 for ice cream is appreciated.

Bernas Park - 5716 S Wilmette Ave
Come out to Bernas Park and enjoy this all-ages free fishing activity. Bring your own fishing pole or borrow one of our rentals. Bait provided while supplies last.
CONCERTS IN THE PARK
Bring your picnic baskets, lawn chairs, blankets, and dance moves to Westmont parks and listen to music performed by a variety of excellent bands.
