The SCARCE Program is kicking off a new recycling opportunity for residents. On Sat., Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to Noon, SCARCE will be collecting used cooking oil that will be used to create biofuel. This is a great opportunity for families that fry their Thanksgiving Turkey. There will be more than 20 locations throughout the County participating. Westmont’s collection will be held at the Johanik Fire Station Headquarters, 6015 S. Cass Avenue.
