"Last year was our first time coordinating the Endless Summer Car Show events,” said Kristina Kaniauskaite, Westmont Special Events Executive Director. "Working with classic car owners, we coordinated private car shows for local senior care and retirement communities. The program was very well received, so the Westmont Special Events organization decided to do it again."
This year, Westmont Special Events will host three Endless Summer Car Show events. The events create an opportunity for people with limited mobility who live in senior care and retirement communities to come out and see these cars from yesteryear in person. Kaniauskaite added, “Since some of our residents weren’t able to come out to our downtown summer car shows, we decided to bring the car shows to them.” Classic car owners interested in participating can sign up online.
