FOX-TV meteorologist Tammie Souza will be the featured guest of the Westmont Emergency Management Agency’s upcoming Severe Weather Training event on April 8 at the Westmont Police Department, 500 N. Cass.
“This has always been an informative, well-attended event,” says Fire Department Deputy Chief Jim Connolly. “This year’s training will be even more engaging with Ms. Souza’s involvement.” Souza has been nominated for 15 Emmys and has won 5 “Best Weathercast” awards.
The training seminar will include information regarding severe weather spotting, how to report a weather emergency to authorities, and more.
