“At one of our Chamber Downtown Westmont Business Alliance Committee meetings, it was suggested that businesses could get involved and put coupons and gift certificates inside some of the Easter Eggs along with a treat,” says Westmont Chamber Executive Director Larry Forssberg. “The Park District was excited to partner with the business community and a total of 16 businesses stepped up to participate. There will be an additional 320 eggs in this year’s event. It should be a lot of fun.”
The annual Westmont Park District Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 19 at Veterans Memorial Park, 75 W. Richmond Street. Children ages 2 to 9 are invited to participate. Children ages 2-3 can be accompanied by a parent. The hunt begins at 10:30 a.m. sharp.
