The upcoming Coffee With The Mayor event will be at Holy Trinity School, 108 S. Linden, on Saturday, April 26, 9 a.m. The event is open to the public. Guests are asked to enter through the main entrance off Linden, then proceed to the Library.
“This will be our first coffee event at a local school,” says Mayor Ron Gunter, “but we’re hoping to have more events at our various schools throughout the year. Our goal is to stimulate and engage in dialogue with our entire community. Working together, we can accomplish great things.”
And on Monday, May 5, 5 p.m., DJ’s Sports Bar & Grill, 222 E. Chicago Avenue, will host our first After Hours With The Mayor event. DJ’s will be planning some Cinco De Mayo specials, so be sure to stop by. These events are open to the public and encourage residents to come out and discuss how we can work together for the betterment of our community.
Westmont citizens are invited to come out, enjoy some refreshments, and engage in conversation with Mayor Gunter and village staff regarding their questions and ideas for the community. These events are also a great way for organizations and businesses to promote themselves to the community.
