On Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, the Westmont Police Department will hold its annual auction of unclaimed property at the Police Station, 500 N. Cass. Previews begin at 8:45 a.m. and the auction will begin at 9 a.m. The auction takes place at the rear of the facility and participants are asked to park on the west side of the Westmont Library parking lot or in the DuPage County Health Facility parking lot located adjacent to the Library. All sales are final, all items are sold as is and returns will not be accepted. Participants may pay for their purchase in cash or a check if they are a local resident and have proper identification.
