The Village of Westmont recently approved an updated Village Board Meeting Schedule that will continue regular board meetings every other Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and various Village Committee meetings starting at 4 p.m. prior to the board meeting.
“We have received very positive feedback regarding the earlier start times, so our plan is to continue the same time schedule that we adopted this past summer,” says Acting Village Manager Steve May. “Mayor Gunter and the board have already stated that they will be flexible with the meeting agenda so to accommodate the schedules of citizens who may arrive late to open forum or other aspects of the meeting that encourage public participation.”
Village Board and Committee Meetings will continue to be at the Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy Street and are open to the public.
