On Sept. 9, 2014, the Village of Westmont received and accepted the retirement notice of Village Manager Ron Searl. Steve May will continue to serve as Acting Village Manager at this time.
The Village thanks Ron for all of his many years of excellent service to the community of Westmont. Ron began as an intern from N.I.U. in 1982 and was hired on as the Assistant Village Manager. Ron became Village Manager in 2004.
“I want to thank Ron for his service, dedication, and commitment to the community,” says Mayor Ron Gunter. “We wish Ron well in his retirement.”
