Village of Westmont

For the past several years, the employees of the Village of Westmont have spearheaded a community initiative to collect winter coats and donate them to area families in need. The second phase of this year’s drive will be from Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 through Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.
Donations will be forwarded to local resource programs and food pantries. Items being collected include new and gently used coats (please wash all items before donating) all sizes, scarves, gloves and snow-pants. Monetary donations are also accepted.
Collection sites include the Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy; Westmont Police Department, 500 N. Cass; Westmont Fire Department, 6015 S. Cass; Westmont Park District, 75 E. Richmond St.; and, new this year, the Westmont Library, 428 N. Cass.
