There will be two Coffee with the Mayor events in November. The first will be Saturday, Nov. 22, 11 a.m. at the Westmont Library, 428 N. Cass Avenue. The Library event will feature a presentation regarding the community’s ongoing stormwater management discussion. Then, as part of the Small Business Saturday and Holly Days events, on Saturday, Nov. 29, the Coffee with the Mayor will be at the Sweet & Savory Spot, 31 N. Cass, 11 a.m. Also on Nov. 29, Sweet & Savory will be the location for the Holly Days Gingerbread House Making Event from 2 to 3:30 p.m..
“We encourage residents and guests to come out and join us for a cup of coffee and good conversation,” says Mayor Ron Gunter. “We want to hear from the community as well as have a chance to let people know what we’re working on. These events are also a great opportunity to promote our local businesses. We hope to see you there.”
