The Westmont First Committee is looking to recruit BLOCKHEADS. “We know that the title of ‘Blockhead’ might not typically be a sought after position,” jokes Westmont First Chair Bruce Barker, “but we want to make sure that we catch people’s attention for this important program which will help grow community and improve communication throughout our neighborhoods.”
The Blockhead Program is recruiting residents who are interested in assisting connections between the Village and their neighborhood. Blockheads will help with the following:
COMMUNICATE *********************************
Assist with communicating important community information to & from your neighborhood
COORDINATE *********************************
Help coordinate events & programs such as Block Parties, Community Garage Sales, & Adopt-A-Hydrant
CARE *********************************
Be part of our Neighborhood Pride Program and help promote community programs such as
Leaf Raking & Alley/Neighborhood Clean-up and more
