RED-WHITE & BBQ FEST - MAY 22-24
The entire community is invited to come to Ty Warner Park Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24, to join in on all the fun for the annual festival and competition. The RWBBQ, which is hosted by the Westmont Lions Club, is the largest State-sanctioned BBQ competition in Illinois and one of the biggest in the Midwest. This year, the Lions plan to have their biggest year ever with a record number of BBQ competitors already signed up. RACE TO THE FLAG 5K - MAY 24
Also, the St. Jude Race To The Flag 5K will be held on Sunday, May 24. Since its inception, the Race To The Flag event has raised tens of thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The Race To The Flag Committee is proud to be part of an event that raises money for such a worthy cause. MEMORIAL DAY PARADE - MAY 25
The annual Memorial Day Parade will start at 10:30 a.m. on May 25 in downtown Westmont. The parade travels south on Cass through the downtown before heading east on Richmond Street and ending at Veterans Memorial Park, 75 E. Richmond. The Village encourages the entire community to attend and show support for our veterans.
