Village of Westmont

At their May 14, 2015 meeting, the Village Board swore in their newly elected officials while honoring their outgoing trustees. “I want to personally thank Trustees Senicka and Scott for all they have done for the community for so many year,” says Mayor Ron Gunter. “They have both done a great job for Westmont and we will miss them.”
Senicka has been a 4-term Village Trustee for a total of 16 years. Over the years, she has chaired every Village Committee and also served as Mayor Pro Tem in 2013 from January until May. Previously, Senicka served on the Promote Westmont Commission and the 75th Anniversary Committee. Scott served as Village Trustee for two terms for a total of eight years. Scott had previously served on the Police-Fire Board from 2000 to 2007.
At the meeting, the Village also swore in newly elected officials Marie Johanik-Guzzo and Linda Liddle as well as re-elected trustee Steve Nero.
“I’m looking forward to working with our new board,” added Gunter. “Westmont has a lot of initiatives in development and we’re looking forward to a bright future for our community.”
