On Tuesday, August 4, 2015, the Village of Westmont invited all community liquor license holders to a meeting regarding video gaming.
“Our goal was to discuss a possible text amendment to the Village Code regarding the regulation of video gaming in Westmont,” says Community Development Director Jill Ziegler. “We’re following up on suggestions and concerns regarding the proximity of video gaming establishments from one another.”
A public hearing regarding potential code changes pertaining to video gaming will be on the agenda at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on August 12, 7 p.m. at the Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy Street, second floor. The public is invited to attend and participate in this discussion.
