There will be a special Coffee With The Mayor event that will feature a Chat With The Chiefs at the Sweet & Savory Spot on Monday, August 31, 7 p.m. The event will feature back to school safety information and more.
“We really wanted to do this so that residents of Westmont could have the opportunity to speak to our amazing police and fire departments,” says Danielle Kirin, owner of the Sweet & Savory Spot restaurant, 31 N. Cass Avenue in downtown Westmont. “Especially with some of the national concerns involving law enforcement today, we wanted to create an open, positive forum for people to ask questions and engage our Police and Fire Departments.”
“We think this will be a great addition to our Coffee series,” says Mayor Ron Gunter. “We appreciate the opportunity to talk with residents and business owners about community issues. We want to thank Danielle for approaching us with this idea.”
