“A community branding process has been identified as one of our top Strategic Plan priorities by our Implementation Committee,” said Trustee Jim Addington, who is chairing the Strategic Plan Implementation Committee. “At our recent Administration Committee meeting, we’ve given direction to move forward with the branding process with the goal of having a final recommendation by Spring 2017.”
“One of our first steps is to secure community engagement,” said Amy Quattrone, who will be leading the branding initiative with Communications Director Larry McIntyre. “We want to make sure we get the whole community involved in this process so that we get everyone’s ideas as we move forward.”
The Community Branding Workshop meeting will be held TONIGHT at the Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy Street, and will start at 6 p.m. The agenda for the meeting will consist of reviewing themes found in the survey data as well as having a discussion regarding our community goals for branding. “Additionally, we are interested in recruiting Westmont residents and businesses who have marketing and branding expertise to serve on this committee and participate in the entire process,” said Quattrone.
