On Friday, April 13, from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., the Westmont Chamber will host the Spring Senior Festival at the Westmont Senior Center - Linden Room, 55 E. Richmond St. The Festival is an opportunity for seniors and caregivers to learn more about the various services and companies in the community that support local seniors. Participating organizations include:
- Seniors Helping Seniors – Home Care Agency - sponsoring a “Beach Time” craft table and employment screenings for seniors
- ARC Physical Therapy – performing Balance Screenings
- Burgess Square Healthcare and Rehab Centre – performing Blood Pressure Screenings
- Friends of Downers Grove Township Senior Services – short presentation on Avoiding Senior Scams
- Clemens Enterprises – health insurance agency – presentation on Medicare Basics
Also participating are:
- Aspired Living of Westmont – Independent and Assisted Living
- The Hearing Care Clinic
- Caryn Jacaway Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage
- Terra Vista of Oakbrook Terrace Assisted LIving
- At Home With You – Home Care Placement Agency
- AARP Drivers Safety team
- Westmont Police Department
- Westmont Fire Department
We will have lots of door prizes and raffle prizes as well as refreshments!
