Village of Westmont

On April 12, 2018, the Village of Westmont Board of Trustees voted to adopt the 2018-19 Annual Budget. Prior to its approval, the draft budget was presented to the Westmont Village Board at the April 5 Budget Workshop. This workshop was an opportunity for the board and citizens to comment on the proposed budget.
“We are extremely pleased with the entire budget process,” said Village Manager Stephen May. “I want to thank Finance Director Spencer Parker and our entire village organization for their thorough and thoughtful disposition to create a budget that prioritizes community goals and strategic plan objectives.”
The Village Budget runs from May 1 through the end of April of the following year. The creation of the budget takes many months of preparation. This is the second year that the Village Budget follows the outline of the Westmont Strategic Plan, which was formally adopted in 2016.
